Dear Friend of His Shiite Bride,
Thank you for praying for Shiites during Ashura! We want you to know that due to variations in using the Lunar Calendar, Ashura officially begins for most Shiite Muslims on Thursday, Jan. 10, and will conclude on Saturday, Jan. 19.
If you and your friends are already planning to pray and fast beginning Jan. 12th, as we have asked, that is great! However, if you are able to begin NOW, you will be praying according to the days Shiite families are observing Ashura around the world.
