Shiite Muslims – a people God is pursuing to be Jesus’ Bride

As we end 2008 we ask you to join us in His Name for a holy time of prayer and fasting for Shiite Muslims Dec. 29, 2008 – January 7, 2009, Shiite Muslims all over the earth will set aside ten days for collective lamentation and remembrance in an event they call Ashura. They will pray and weep, seeking God's favor and blessing.

Will YOU, as a Follower of Jesus, pray and fast for Shiite Muslims during these ten important days of Ashura? Set aside part of the day or night Dec. 29, 2008 –Jan. 7, 2009 and ask Jesus, our Good Shepherd, to bring many Shiite families into His sheepfold during this important season.

Pass around a sign up sheet to friends at church or work, and as a group cover entire days and nights in prayer and fasting for Shiites during Ashura!

God moved mightily during Ashura the past two years when many followers of Jesus prayed and fasted for Shiites.

Let's agree together in Jesus' name this year, Dec. 29, 2008-Jan. 7, 2009. As we ask Him to bring many Shiite families into His sheepfold, let's see what God will do!
